ALGIERS- Minister of Interior and Local Authorities, Noureddine Bedoui, called all political partners to make of the election of 2017 a halt to show "the entire world Algeria's strength and stability as well as its people's unity and cohesion".
"I call all political partners to seize the opportunity of the elections of 2017 to make a halt and mobilize to show the entire world Algeria's strength and stability as well as the its people's unity and cohesion," Bedoui said in reply to questions by the members of the Lower House's Committee on Finance and Budget, during a debate on the law and budgetary regulation 2014.
"Giving a fresh impetus to the political life is within the political parties’ province," has noted.
Bedoui deem it "essential to convey to the entire world strong messages during the forthcoming two elections (legislative and local)."The messages will have to stress that "we are strong and Algeria has secured its future," he added.
